Frequently Asked Questions
FAQs
$2,900 Course Fee
(christmas special)
How long is the course?
The course is about 3 weeks long. The instructors will be keeping track of your progress and once you are proficient in all the elements of the ELDT program then you will have successfully completed the course. We will then upload your completion certification to FMCSA's Training Provider Registry (TPR). After this you will be allowed to take the skills test.

Do I need to obtain my Commercial Learners Permit (CLP) on my own?
You do not have to obtain the CLP on your own. We will help you get it.

Do you offer financing?
We have partnered with a finance company who you can apply financing through. If you take this route, the tuition will be $4,300. Please choose the "Finance Tuition" contract when you are signing up for our program if you choose to go this route.

Do you help with job placement?
Yes, we get you job placement right after graduating and obtaining your CDL. A lot of the jobs offered do tuition reimbursement so you will get the entire money back that you pay us for the training.
Does the school provide its own truck for the skills test?
Yes, the school will provide a truck and trailer for you to take your skills test on.

How much does the skills test cost?
We cover the fee for one skills test. However, if you fail, there is a $150 fee for the second test and $100 for the third test.
Are the trucks manual or automatic transmission?
We have both types of trucks. If you would like to obtain a CDL that allows you to drive both, you must learn and test on a manual transmission truck. If you test on an automatic transmission truck, that is all you will be allowed to drive. We are currently running a Christmas Special so the tuition is $3,200 for the automatic transmission and $3,500 for the manual transmission.

What if I'm not as quick of a learner as the other students?
We do not expect students to learn at the same pace. We accommodate to various paces.

Why should I choose your school over the others?
We are family-owned and operated so the owners are directly involved in the day-to-day operations. We ensure our class size does not exceed an amount where students are not getting the education they are promised. Our students get more time in the truck and with the instructors (that care!) than other schools. Because of these reasons, we have a 99% pass rate at our school.
